Training Content
The training will contain, but is not limited to, the following:
- Ensure understanding amongst senior managers of the impact and importance of mental wellbeing in the workplace
- Overview of how a wellbeing programme can be implemented
- Understand the legal requirements of the organisation
- Increase knowledge of the facts, prevalence, and impact of stigma around mental health
Timing
60-90 minutes depending on your requirements.
Training Content
The training will contain, but is not limited to, the following:
- Ensuring understanding amongst managers of the impact and importance of mental wellbeing in the workplace
- Overview of why a wellbeing programme is being implemented
- Increased knowledge of the facts, prevalence, and impact of stigma around mental health
- How and where to seek help, plus the importance of signposting
- How to manage and support an employee in need
- Recognise the early signs of mental distress – how to reduce the impact and take action
- How to minimise the companies impact on poor mental health and improve productivity.

90 minutes.
Training Content
The training will contain, but is not limited to, the following:
- Ensuring understanding of the impact and importance of mental wellbeing in the workplace
- Overview of why a wellbeing programme is being implemented
- Increased knowledge of the facts, prevalence, and impact of stigma around mental health
- How and where to seek help, plus the importance of signposting
- Recognise the early signs of mental distress – how to reduce the impact and take action for both yourself and your colleagues
- How to minimise the companies impact on poor mental health and improve productivity
- Importance of self-care.
Timing
90 minutes.
Training Content
Our Adult MHFA Two Day course qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider.
Mental Health First Aiders have:
- An in depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing
- Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues
- Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress
- Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening
- Knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to further support – whether that’s self-help resources, through their employer, the NHS, or a mix
Timing
Two days.
With the exception of the MHFA course, all trainings can be altered to fit your companies needs.
