I feel good for a while
I’ll be more social, laugh a lot more
sleep and eat more regularly
but then something happens to me
I can’t explain what it is
a switch turns off inside me
and I’m back to complete darkness
but each time this happens
I sink deeper
I’m scared, that one day I won’t find the light again
petrified that I won’t make it back up
the feeling of gasping for air
screaming for help
but no one hears
just confused faces
wondering why I’m struggling all of sudden
