Heart Rate

This was my heart rate yesterday.

The spikes in the evening are the result of a panic attack. Sweat dripping off me, heart pounding, struggling to breathe, dry mouth, my whole body shaking and tunnel vision. The gradual increase during the afternoon is from the feeling of anxiety rising. This is also whilst I’m on the highest dosage of meds for my condition. This is also me trying my hardest to get a grip and hide it.

Thankfully, I was with my sister in law, who was amazing, and her calmness helped me. We bought drinks, but due to shaking, I was unable to drink mine or even carry it to our chairs. My heart rate settled during the amazing show, but you can see it peak again. This is the train journey home.

Awareness, Not Sympathy

I’m only posting this as I know there are millions of other people who also have C-PTSD, EUPD, anxiety, depression and panic attacks.

This post isn’t for sympathy, it’s for awareness. When you ask your friend out and they say no, it’s possible they desperately want to go with you.  Yet, more desperately, they need to feel safe at home. It’s not something you can snap out off, pull yourself together, have nothing to be depressed/worried about or just get on with. It’s something you have to live with every single day, 24/7.
