Suicide, a word that turns my stomach when I hear it, because it’s one of the biggest causes of death. Many of us experience the loss of someone to suicide, we replay every conversation, retrace every step that we took together and relive the precious moment that we hold close to our hearts desperately trying to search for something that might have been missed. Feelings and thoughts of guilt, shock, denial, anger and having a wave of darkness overcome us, it’s a grief that nobody can ever explain.

Suicide (1) - Suicide, a word that turns my stomach when I hear it, it’s of the biggest causes of death. Many of us experience the loss of someone to suicide.

People are different and so there will be no exact answer to why someone needed a way out, but know this they didn’t intend to hurt anyone. Life is tough and we don’t know what each person is dealing with in their own mind. Depression is an illness. It’s an invisible injury that we can’t see and it does not go away over night.
If you know someone who’s is struggling, please don’t shame or criticize them. Remember you have the words and the power to save that persons life, be that person who offers compassion and who is understanding.

I hope this reaches someone and it gives them hope that they can carry on even on the darkest days.

To all those who have lost someone to suicide you are in my prayers.

To anyone who is feeling like they have no reason to be here. You matter, you are loved and you are needed here. Please don’t give up. Believe me when I say this things get better and like an ocean, tides do turn just please carry on.💚💚
