Just like my very own anesthetic,
It makes sure I don’t feel a thing.

Hijacked (1) - "Depression has hijacked my body and spends the nights joy riding my life." A short poem, written by Sara Blaylock.
It makes sure I sleep… A lot,
but unfortunately depression cannot be surgically removed.
So it’s still there
Waiting to bring me to my knees.
Everything is still white noise and deep breaths.

Depression has hijacked my body and spends the nights joy riding my life.
