Mirror

Fragile reflection
Strong deflection
Of heart broken into bits
Of soul defeated by hits

And turning my face off
means switching my pain on
And wishing to fade away
I’m taking my daydream faraway

The Life I Lost. The life I lost | The joy forever gone | Replaced by pain and grief | The smiling heart forever lost | Replaced by emptiness

The Life I Lost

The joy forever gone
Replaced by pain and grief
The smiling heart forever lost
Replaced by emptiness of a smiling face
The dreams forever vanished
Replaced by fogged brain and thoughts
The love forever lost
Replaced by struggle and wounds

The little things forever lost
Replaced by empty holes
………..
The snowflake on my nose
The dewed mornings
The cake taken from the oven
The foggy evenings
The dog awaiting my kiss
The touch of rose petals
The rain droplets on windows
