Today I thought I would write down some self care ideas for depression, for you to try out on those days when you need a little pick-me-up! We all have them but sometimes we need some ideas of what to do on those days! Please feel free to comment any further ideas and I will add them to the list.
My self care ideas for depression
Go outside and be at one with nature.
Do some artwork such as painting watercolours!
Take an extra special self-care bath.
Get the bike out of the shed and go for a ride!
Take the dogs for a walk.
Take time out for reflection and write a journal.
Make some time for guided meditation.
Make a change in your diet!
Read a good book.
Bake a cake.
Learn to knit or crochet.
Take up exercise or gym.
Have a pamper day!
Get your hair and nails done!
Meditate.
Try a day of mindfulness.
Laugh out loud with friends.
Volunteer for a good cause.
Get dressed up in something that makes you feel good.
Join a support group.
Get out in the garden and get your hands dirty.
So there are some of my go-to self care ideas for you today.
